Site Information
Directions. For directions to Lake Zurich MS North, see map at bottom of page.
Parking. Parking will be on site. Remote parking will be available with a shuttle bus at Alpine Chapel (23153 W Miller Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). Shuttles should run approximately every 15 minutes. A “Director Parking Pass” was sent via email on 2/23.

Contest Office. Directors only. No parents or students are permitted in the contest office.

Meals and snacks will be available from Buddy’s Catering throughout the day.

Equipment Provided
The following percussion instruments will be provided for percussion participants (Rooms 12 & 13): Bass Drum, 4 Timpani, Bells, Xylophone, 5-piece Drum-Set, 4-Octave Kelon Marimba. Snare players must bring their own equipment. Please contact steve.stenzel@lz95.org for questions.
Each Performance Room will have at least 4 stands. If you need more stands for a performance, students need to bring their own folding stands.

Rules Governing Solo & Ensemble Contest
Remember: Each student should have an original copy of the music for the judge. These originals should have measures numbered in pencil. There will not be a photocopy machine available on the day of contest
Conduct & Policies
Please remind students of proper conduct and behavior when visiting host sites. Students should show respect for the building, contest signs, and all content within Lake Zurich MS North. It is also important that students remain quiet in the hallways outside of performance areas. Instruments should only be played in warm-up and performance rooms. A parent or adult should be with students at all times. All rules and regulations will follow in accordance with the Northern Illinois Music Conference Constitution and By-Laws.
Lake Zurich MS North is a peanut-free environment. Please do not bring outside food or beverages into the building. Food and beverages are available for purchase in the cafeteria from Buddy’s Catering (providing hotdogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc.).
No smoking is permitted in the school building, on school grounds, or in parking lots. Thank you for your cooperation.
